'Second opinion on Abortion.'

         A pregnant women who is seriously ill & needs & abortion is entitled to a second medical opinion if her request is turned down, the Irish government has clarified amid global scrutiny of its laws on abortion after 31 year old Indian dentist Savita Halappanavar's death in october.
             Ireland has also told the council of Europe,a rights body, that a pregnant , ill women would have the right  to apply to the high court for orders directing the" necessary treatment " to be provided. Savita  died
on october 28 at Galway University Hospital. She was 17 weeks pregnant & was found to be miscarrying .
Her husband Praveen said she sought a termination of the pregnancy repeatedly but was refused by the
 doctor, who said the fetal heart beat could still be found & "this is a Catholic  country."
           According to the Irish Times, the interim scenarios, that apply to the country pending full implementation of the ABC judgement of the European court of Human Rights are laid out in an action plan submitted by the  Irish government to the council A, B &Ccases represent landmark cases of the court on the right to privacy.

Our Chandimondop

This  chandimondop is situated at village Gangatikuri in Burdwan District of West Bengal. This is our Ancesterial house where all festivals are celebrated , puja's like Durga puja, Jagadhatri puja, Dol Jatra & daily Narayan puja  takes place.We really feel very proud to be a part of the house "INDRALAYA" constructed by Late Indra Nath Bandhopadhay nearly about 120 years ago.Gangatikuri is situated on the western Bank of the Ganges where Ajoy river meets the Ganges.

Bhai Phonta

Yesterday we celebrated bhai phonto in our house ,it is an auspious occasion amonst us.All my brother used to come in our house & a great time we spent together , their is good food, games, gossiping & lots of fun.when my mother was alive she used to cook all delesious food by herself  now we have  to many options  
we can go out , we can home delivery food, according to our choice, but we miss the love & affection of our mother that we get in her simple menu.

             Not only in bengal bhai phonta  is also femous in many parts of our country.It is also known as bhai duj, but we bengalees gave some extra emotion , another important thing is gift  we planned what to give to our brother,& we opened each others gift with lots of excitment it was great joy,
                   Hope those who have brother & those who have not have their own but have cousins both enjoyed a great day.

Jagadhatri puja is coming, this is the photo of last year Jagadhatri puja took  place in our ancester's house.This year puja  completed peacefully  maintaining all the rituals. 

Scope and Field in Sociology

• I am very much interested in this subject, as I completed my MA in this subject & I have a dream to do PHD on this subject
• " Now how much scope is there"
•       "Sociology is a very broad and diverse subject."
• It is  one of a family of disciplines  including history, economics, phychology, political science etc.
• All social sciences are concerned with social life of human beings, with people in society.
• Each of the other social sciences studies a particular aspect of social life, each uses particular methods of study and each employ its on sets of concepts.
• So we can conclude our brief disscussion, by saying that, sociology is the systematic study of  human social life groups and societies giving special emphasis to modern societies.                                                  .

I am Twarita ,
                          I am born in kolkata. as a speacial gift to my perent as I am very speacial. My education started lower classes, in my residence than I took admission at St. Halen school.But due to some problem
I dis-continue from regular school,  after few years gaps I  again started from open school , later completed
my graduation, MA from Indira Gandhi Open University.I love to read book , listen to old hindi songs, interested in cooking use to create new recipes.  I also use to sing songs , still taking training in it.
